For independent language teachers
Every lesson, sent home and practised.
Write up the lesson and its words, and send it. Your students open it from a link, an email or the app, and practise until the words stick. No app or account needed.
- Opens in any browser
- Emailed in their language
- English, French, Spanish, Polish
How it works
No more photos lost in a chat thread.
- 1
Write it up
What you covered and what to do for next time, in a few lines after the lesson.
- 2
Add the words
Type them, pick from your own, or photograph your notes: Tuteo fixes spelling and adds translations and an example. Nothing is saved until you approve it.
- 3
Send it
Each student gets it by email or in the app, and a link of their own to paste into any chat.
- 4
See who practised
Who opened it, how many of its words each student practised, and which ones they keep missing.
For students
Nothing to install. Nothing to remember.
Students practise wherever the lesson reaches them. The app adds a daily reminder and a streak, for those who want it.
Their link opens anywhere
One link per student, in any browser: their lessons, their words and practice, without an account.
In their inbox, in their language
Each lesson arrives by email in English, French, Spanish or Polish. One click stops them.
Four ways to practise
Chosen for each word from how well they know it.
- Flashcards
- Multiple choice
- Listen and choose
- Typing
Back before it's forgotten
Spaced review brings each word back just as it starts to fade.
Every word read aloud
In the device's own voice, for every language it speaks.
A few minutes a day, on their phone.
In the app, each day picks the words that are due plus a few new ones, with a streak to keep and a reminder if they forget.
You see who's keeping up.
Every student's practice over the last two weeks, who has gone quiet, and the words they keep missing, so you know what to go over next lesson.
- Who each lesson was emailed to, and who opened it
- How many of a lesson's words each student practised
- A flag when a student goes quiet
Adding a student takes a name.
Nothing for them to sign up to. You get their link, paste it into the chat you already use, and their lessons are waiting. They can keep them in an account later.

Questions
Do my students need the app?
No. Their link opens their lessons and practice in any browser. The app adds a daily reminder and a streak.
Do they need an account?
No. They can save their progress to one later, with Apple, Google or an email code, and keep everything on any device.
Does it work for classes?
Yes. A class has its own shared word list, and a lesson can be sent to a whole class at once.
Can I reuse words I already have?
Yes. Your words live in one place, and you can add them to any lesson, list or class.
Which languages does Tuteo speak?
The studio, the app and the emails are in English, French, Spanish and Polish.
I'm a student. Where are my lessons?
Open the link your teacher sent you: your lessons and practice are all there. If you saved them to an account, sign in to the app with it.
Send your next lesson with Tuteo.
Setting up takes a minute: your page's name, the languages you teach, then your first student.
