These terms apply when you use Tuteo: the website, the teacher studio and the app. By using Tuteo you agree to them. Questions: hello@tuteo.app.
Tuteo
Tuteo lets language teachers send their lessons and words to their students, and lets students practise them. It is run by Keanu Harrell. Tuteo is new: features may change, and some are still being built.
Your account
- Sign in with your own Apple or Google account, or your own email address.
- Keep access to them safe: anyone who can sign in as you can use Tuteo as you.
- A student's link opens their lessons without signing in. Share it only with that student.
What you put in Tuteo
Your lessons, notes, words and recordings stay yours. You let us store, process and show them as needed to run Tuteo for you and the students you send them to. Only add what you have the right to share, and only add a student's email with their agreement (a parent's, for a child under 16).
Words read from photos and filled in for you (translations, examples, pronunciation) are suggestions: check them before you save them.
Fair use
Don't use Tuteo to:
- break the law, or anyone's rights;
- send unwanted messages, or content that is hateful, harassing or explicit;
- get into other people's accounts or data, or disrupt Tuteo or attack it.
We may suspend an account that does.
Price
Tuteo is free while it is new. If paid plans are introduced, they will be described on our home page, and nothing will be charged without you choosing a plan first. Students never pay.
Ending
You can stop using Tuteo at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see our privacy policy). If we ever close Tuteo, we will tell you at least 30 days before, so you can take your words with you.
Liability
We work to keep Tuteo running and your data safe, but provide it as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with its date, and we tell you first when a change matters.
