Tuteo for teachers
Vocabulary practice for English teachers
After each lesson, send your students its words. They practise them from a link, an email or the app, and you see who's keeping up.
An example
A lesson, as your students get it.
The words you covered, each translated into your student's language, with an example sentence and read aloud.
No more photos lost in a chat thread.
- 1
Write it up
What you covered and what to do for next time, in a few lines after the lesson.
- 2
Add the words
Type them, pick from your own, or photograph your notes: Tuteo fixes spelling and adds translations and an example. Nothing is saved until you approve it.
- 3
Send it
Each student gets it by email or in the app, and a link of their own to paste into any chat.
- 4
See who practised
Who opened it, how many of its words each student practised, and which ones they keep missing.
Questions
Do my students need the app?
No. Their link opens their lessons and practice in any browser. The app adds a daily reminder and a streak.
Are the translations in my students' language?
Yes. Each student picks the language their words are translated into, among the ones you explain in.
Does it work for classes?
Yes. A class has its own shared word list, and a lesson can be sent to a whole class at once.
Can I reuse words I already have?
Yes. Your words live in one place, and you can add them to any lesson, list or class.
